Nova Petrochemicals Ltd. was incorporated on 23rd December 1993 and commenced on 5th January 1994.It was an experience and exposure of over 20 years in processing of fabrics, texturising, sizing, dyeing and exports of fabrics that Nova made its foray into the manufacture of yarn beginning with POY [partially oriented polyester filament yarn] with the latest machinery from Barmag AG germany followed by manufacture of texturising, draw twisted, micro filaments yarns.The year was 1994. In the year 1999 for the first time in the world Nova Petrochemicals Ltd. has installed latest 10 end parallel spinning lines from Barmag AG germany to manufacture micro filaments yarns.

With the installed capacity of 43,000 tons of POY, 6,500 tons of Textured Yarn & 4,300 tons of Draw Twisted Yarn per annum, Nova has not looked back down the line since six years, reason are many and varied but prime is Quality With No Compromise.

Promoted jointly by Gupta Group of Surat and Chiripal Group of Ahmedabad, Nova has made giant strides in this last six years.Having turnover grown from 129 crores in 1997-98 to 166 crores in 1998-99.A Jump of 30%in just one year.

Strange as it may sound the arithmatically inclined of quality leading with stupendous financial growth in less then a decade but then this makes Nova Petrochemicals Ltd. a different ball game. - Team Spirit with Quality being Leader.

Right from the purchase of raw material to the final products, quality checks are done at each and every stage.Beside online quality monitoring quality checks are also done ar post production stage.

So much of importance is given to quality in Nova plant that informal quality circles has been created in each section of every department.Little wonder then each and every bobbin comes for quality checks.

Hence quality at Nova is more then a seven letter words.It is part and parcel of very existence with its longest drawn process, quite simple because it is an On Going One.
